Introduction: Realistic, reasonable and justifiable budgeting is the most important part of grant proposal and therefore it is essential for finance and non-finance persons of any development or humanitarian organizations to learn budgeting techniques.
This course is designed for the NGOs’ staff involved, or going to be involved, in any aspect of budget making process in their organizations.
Training Contents:
The training contents will be finalized by the participants of this training through a comprehensive assessment of their needs. However, emphasis will be given in the following areas:
Qualities of a good budget
- Types of budget
- Developing budget from the proposal documents
- Budgeting for support cost
- Activity based budgeting
- Preparing and using Cash flow forecast
- Action planning
Objectives of the Training: The sole objective of this training is to build the confidence and skills in the participants so that they can develop a reasonable and quality budget documents for any funding proposal.
